Competitive & Transition
Benchmarking

Where economic performance meets climate transition.

About The Platform

This platform tracks 179 companies across 15 sectors in fashion, consumer goods, technology and automotive, measuring where each one stands on competitive strength and climate transition readiness.

To make this comparable, we score every company on two dimensions: ECON (economic competitive position, 0–100) and ENV (environmental transition readiness, 0–100), both validated against audited financial results.

The scores complement sector-level analysis, identifying who is winning and who is exposed within each competitive set.

Our data spans 2014–2025 financials and 2021–2024 emissions, with a forward-looking outlook for 2026.

What It Unlocks

  • Climate performance, measured in financial terms.

Environmental data that connects directly to finance: Carbon Profitability, Emission Intensity, margin resilience to carbon pricing. Connect environmental progress to financial strength.

  • An external reference for competitive positioning.

Independent data on where you and your peers stand on economic strength and climate transition readiness across 179 companies and 15 sectors. Build the case internally.

  • Quantified transition exposure.

Assess emissions intensity, decarbonisation pace, and margin risk under carbon pricing scenarios. Identify where financial exposure sits within your competitive set.

  • Evidence designed for decisions.

ECON scores correlate with next-year revenue performance: bottom-quartile companies underperform by 5+ percentage points. Inform resource allocation and strategic planning.
